General purpose BMC for electrical applications.
BMC 0160
Flame resistance
High-performance bulk moulding compounds that combine flame resistance, chemical resistance and antistatic properties for reliable, long-term performance.
Bulk Moulding Compound (BMC) is a ready-to-mould thermoset composite made from polymer resin, fillers, and chopped glass fibres. It is ideal for compression moulding, enabling the production of strong, durable and precise components with consistent quality. BMC combines high mechanical strength, flame retardancy, chemical resistance and electrical insulation, making it suitable for automotive, electrical, household, and industrial applications.
Compared to SMC, BMC’s flowable consistency allows more complex geometries and efficient high-volume production, while maintaining the same performance and reliability expected from fibre-reinforced thermosets.

Flame resistance
General purpose BMC for electrical applications.
Flame resistance
General-purpose BMC for enclosures, covers and functional components.
General Purpose BMC
Low-shrink material with lower fire retardancy. Typical applications include housings, covers and household appliances.
Surface Quality
Low-profile BMC with increased shrinkage compensation but reduced pigmentability, used for functional compounds with light colours.
Surface Quality
Low Profile BMC with very good flowability and thermal conductivity. Typical applications - overmolding of E-Motor elements (stators and rotors)
Surface Quality
Low-profile material for Class-A body panel applications, with excellent surface for painted panels.
Class-A
Low Profile BMC for the applications with very low tolerances like E-Motor components.
Class-A
Increased resistance to chemicals used in chemical plants for pumps and armatures.
Chemical Resistance
Increased hydrolysis resistance. Applications include pump housings and water purification systems.
Hydrolysis Resistance
High-strength material with tough matrix resins, for compression moulding only.
High strength
High-strength material resistant to fuel, lubricants and cleaning agents being used around automotive engines and pump housing applications.
High strength
High temperature stability for applications requiring high service temperatures, approximately 200°C.
High temperature
Arc resistance BMC for arc quenching chambers, especially with high fire retardancy.
Flame resistance
Features antistatic properties for use in explosion-proof components within the mining, gas and oil exploration industries, and chemical plants.
Antistatic Properties
BMC with zero shrinkage and high long-term thermal stability. Due to its non-fogging properties, it is mainly used for front light reflectors.
Class-A
BMC with recycled components (up to 30%) for headlamp reflectors and support frames. High surface quality.
