Menzolit® SMC 1600 combines durability with design flexibility for sanitary applications. Its low shrinkage and high mechanical strength allow consistent, high-quality parts. Fire safety is enhanced due to low smoke and the absence of droplet formation. The material is easy to process in heated steel moulds using sheet or compression moulding.

SMC 1600 meets stringent sanitary product requirements with high resistance to mechanical stress, dimensional stability and surface quality. It complies with relevant European and international standards for fire performance, surface quality, and chemical resistance. Its reinforcement and filler combination ensures strength and reliability for commercial and residential sanitary installations.

The compound offers excellent mechanical properties and thermal stability for sanitary applications. Density and shrinkage are optimised for high-quality moulded parts. Continuous service temperatures and heat distortion resistance support long-term use. Fire performance and electrical properties meet regulatory standards.
