Menzolit® SMC 1000 is a glass fibre reinforced sheet moulding compound based on unsaturated polyester resin. It contains mineral fillers and exhibits excellent fire safety, not melting or forming droplets under fire. It is designed for compression moulding in heated steel moulds with chrome-plated tools.
