Product Overview
Menzolit® SMC 0290 is a glass fibre-reinforced sheet moulding compound based on unsaturated polyester resin. It contains mineral fillers and provides reliable performance for high-strength functional electrical components. The material does not melt, form droplets, or generate excessive smoke in the event of a fire. Injection-moulded in heated steel moulds, it is suitable for switchgear housings and other demanding electrical applications.
