Product Overview

Menzolit® BMC 0390 is a bulk moulding compound based on unsaturated polyester resin. The product is glass fibre reinforced and contains mineral fillers for strength and dimensional stability. It offers minimal fire retardancy, does not melt or form droplets, and has low smoke generation.

BMC 0390 provides excellent dimensional stability due to its low shrinkage formulation. It allows consistent colour and surface finish for light-coloured parts. The material is injection moulded in heated steel moulds, ensuring precision and repeatability. It is safe to handle, halogen-free and suitable for electrical, energy, industrial and sanitary applications.

The product meets industry requirements for low-profile, dimensionally stable components. Its minimal shrinkage ensures tight tolerances in electrical and industrial applications. UL 94 HB and glow wire 750°C ratings align with electrical safety standards. Glass fibre reinforcement provides the mechanical strength required in sanitary and energy applications.

BMC 0390 is designed for precise, high-quality injection moulding with low shrinkage and consistent surface finish. It maintains performance under continuous service up to 165°C and heat distortion above 200°C. Mechanical and electrical properties make it suitable for multi-industry use. Available in all colours with standard packaging and optional customised solutions.
