Product Overview

Menzolit® BMC 0170 is a bulk moulding compound based on unsaturated polyester resin, reinforced with glass fibre and mineral fillers. It offers high strength while maintaining excellent fire retardancy and low smoke emission. Suitable for injection moulding in heated steel moulds, it is recommended to use chrome-plated tools.

Menzolit® BMC 0170 combines high mechanical strength with excellent fire resistance, making it ideal for electrical and industrial applications. Menzolit® BMC 0170 is processed via injection moulding in heated steel moulds, preferably using chrome-plated tools. Store in a dry environment to maintain shelf life. Technical support is available for processing guidance, testing, and troubleshooting. Design recommendations are provided to achieve optimal mechanical and electrical performance.
