Menzolit BMC 2900 can be used to mould safety parts or signs In applications where luminescent or fluorescent behaviour becomes a real safety advantage parts that are made from standard SMC can be mould with BMC 2900 to form a safety device with functions. Menzolit Bio BMC is a compound that is made fro renewable natural raw materials. In today's world with ever increasing demand of limited raw materials like petrol oil or energy, dwindling raw material availability and therefore sky rocketing raw material cost; natural growing and therefore renewable materials become interesting to material designers. This was the starting point for Menzolit's product designers. A sustainable material business is based on access and availability of raw materials. Therefore, it is important to look on other resources than today's used raw materials. Menzolit HPC is a high strength material with unidirectional reinforcement. Especially high strength and stiffness in direction of fibre orientation for structural applications. Menzolit AdvancedSMC is a very special SMC using Carbon fibres in ccontinuous non chopped heavy tow carbon fibers produce thin layers of unidirectional composite. Chopped fibers are used to provide transversal reinforcement. After compounding and maturation thin layers are stacked and assembled in a predetermined pattern to optimize product strength.
