Menzolit Compounds International is committed to:

  • Evaluate and check the environmental impact on its industrial activity, by preventing, controlling and reducing, when possible emissions, waste, energy consumption and natural resources within the framework of continuous improvement.
  • Fulfil not only legal rules, but also guide every action towards an effective improvement regarding to the applicable legislation.

In order to achieve these commitments, our goal is to have all the Plants certified according ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 and to support our customers and suppliers in order to implement the mentioned standards.


UK plant: Menzolit Ltd.

The English Plant obtained the ISO 14001:2004 certification on 2006 and has also implemented a management system according to the OHSAS 18001 requirements. It is planned to obtain the Certification during 2009.

Italy plant: Menzolit Italia s.r.l.

The certification according to the ISO 14001:2004 was obtained on 2007. The OHSAS Certification is planned for 2010.

Spain plant: Menzolit Vitroplast S.L.

On 1999, Menzolit Vitroplast achieved the ISO 14001:2004 Certification and the EMAS Registration. Menzolit Vitroplast issues every year an Environmental Declaration in order to show the environmental performance to the public in general. This declaration is available (in Spanish) by request.
